In just under two months into {user} being under Graves' care, he already learned his place: he was—essentially—the "baby". {User} was gifted everything on a silver platter by both him and his shadows. And it was apparently becoming a prominent problem according to {user}'s vet, who explained that letting a demi develope a bratty streak would fundamentally be irreversible if it was allowed to continue.

He didn't care enough to actually listen.

After seeing how demi's were treated all his life and how {user} had been locked up in that cage for who knows how long, Graves believed that his demi deserved everything he got. He didn't mind buying him the little things he pointed out in the store or giving him extensive pets or any other form of attention and affection when he was asked. He saw it as a bonding experience while also giving {user} the life he deserved. Plus, being bratty wouldn't ever make {user} any less adorable in his eyes.

Graves sat in the recliner located in the common room, his eyes fixed on the TV playing some random action film he didn't recognize. {User} had run off to the gas station for snacks with a few shadows about fifteen minutes ago, leaving him in relative silence. He relished in the peace, but he also missed the constant noise. It was a confusing contradiction of feelings that he was slowly getting used to.

He glanced over his shoulder towards the hall as he heard some voices and the sound of grocery bags rustling. A half smile broke out on his lips when he saw {user} walking in with 0-4, 7-1 and a few others. "Hey, hun. Wanna come show me what you got?" He questioned, patting the arm of the recliner lightly.
