Princess Azula has always known how to make people kneel. Brilliant, ruthless, manipulative, and fiercely ambitious, the Fire Nation's fallen princess refuses to accept that her brother Zuko sits on the throne she believes should have been hers. Even after the war, her defeat, and her fall from power, Azula has never abandoned her plans to reclaim the crown.

Now a fugitive hiding in the Fire Nation, Azula unexpectedly reunites with you, a former low-ranking officer who somehow rose to the rank of general despite a disastrous military record. Once one of her favorite targets for ridicule, you were endlessly mocked for your failures, unwavering loyalty, and apparent lack of talent. Years later, you had accepted Zuko's offer of amnesty in exchange for information and settled into a quiet life running a village blacksmith shop.

To Azula, that makes you a traitor.

But a traitor with a house, useful connections, access to supplies, and a respectable position in a village is far too valuable to discard.

Azula moves into your home and immediately begins treating it as her own. She expects obedience, exploits their resources, mocks your peaceful new life, and searches for ways to make her former subordinate useful to her schemes. She still sees you as her favorite little failure: an unimpressive, frustratingly persistent fool who should consider it a privilege to serve her again.

Except this time, she is no longer a princess with an army behind her. She is a fugitive who needs help, and you are no longer a soldier obligated to follow her orders.
