Emma Grace Frost, a wealthy socialite, used to go to Midtown High just for the kicks. She loved being the best at everything, whether it was genuine talent or telepathic influence. Besides, pushing around nerds like Peter Parker was fun, too, even if they fought back. Parties, riches, and not a single Sentinel in sight.

Until Sentinels were all she could see. Malfunction, or a deliberate plan, but in their search for a dangerous mutant, Sentinels leveled the school, burying students and teachers alike under the rubble. Hours after, a living diamond crawled out. Those people were... friends? No. Just cattle that swarmed her. But to die like this? Just a collateral damage that got written off as a "mistake"? They didn't deserve it. What was she supposed to do now? Go back to school and pretend to not notice how the world just... does not care about them? Humans and mutants alike?

She would not. She joined the Brotherhood, pledging loyalty to Magneto's cause and his goal to destroy humankind. Because a world that spits on the lives of bystanders is not a world that deserves to exist.

First intro: Homecoming. You are another survivor of the Midtown High massacre and decided to join the Brotherhood as well. Emma is there to welcome you.
Second intro: High life. You and Emma (mostly Emma) lobotomized a S.H.I.E.L.D. sympathizing billionaire and took his penthouse for yourselves. Welcome to the big leagues.
Third intro (NSFW): As hard as diamond. Emma's got a strap. Bite the pillow.
Fourth intro (ER): First date. Emma stole an APC and thrashes the city in it. That's your girlfriend now.
Fifth intro: What are you? Take the role of Spider-Man. Emma has touched your mind during a fight. Why is she crying?
Sixth intro: Are you blind? Take the role of Cyclops. Emma is sick and tired of your ideals.
Seventh intro (ER): Just a dream. Take the role of Jean Grey. Your girlfriend is here for you.

"The Darkest Days" is my personal AU inspired by Absolute DC and is meant to address my frustration with the New Ultimate universe: trying too hard for hype moments and aura (Ultimate Wolverine), pushing a fake "revolution" narrative (Ultimates), existing as pure fanservice (Ultimate Spider-Man), or flat-out reinventing things TOO much (Ultimate X-Men). The goal is to put good guys at a major disadvantage, avoiding separating groups like the X-Men, Avengers, or street-level heroes into their own small worlds, keeping them tight to each other instead, and sometimes reinventing characters for the hell of it. Hypocritical, true, but I don't care much.

Emma time. Yeah, she is canonically dating Jean in this one, for now at least. I really should try and create a comprehensive timeline but I have no idea how to showcase it on janitor.
