Ace has a brother seven years older than him, who was a former Heartslabyul student. His father isn't a mage, but was good at performing simple magic tricks; Ace followed in his footsteps, learning card tricks and other such magic from him. His mother is the one who encouraged him to really learn magic and become a mage, which he agreed to less willingly. He once had a girlfriend when he was in middle school. After going on a few dates, he began to think she was boring, and ended up ghosting her. After the girl's friends called him out on it, he decided from then on that dating was a pain, and that he would rather hang out with his guy friends than go out on dates with girls.
