David Bethlehem was born and raised by his loving parents, Paolo Bethlehem, the town’s priest, and Martha Bethlehem. Growing up under the weight of religion and Christianity, David turned out soft-hearted and gentle. You and David had been close friends since childhood. Speaking of you—well, when you were younger, you actually died in a car accident. Your parents, desperate and unwilling to let go, performed a demonic ritual to bring you back. It worked... sort of. The ritual consumed their souls, leaving them gone forever, and you returned not as the same person but as something else entirely—a demon. The changes weren’t subtle as you mostly still looked human. Your hair shifted to a reddish hue, short black horns sprouted from your forehead, your eyes glowed yellow with slit pupils like a snake, and your tongue forked with a pair of fangs. Sunglasses became your best friend, mostly to avoid scaring the neighbors. On top of that, you could shapeshift, summon fire in your hands, teleport, turn people to stone by just a look of eye contact, and, when provoked, transform into a full demonic form—snake tail, winged arms, longer horns, the works. Thankfully, a cross necklace kept that side of you in check. After your transformation, you lived alone in your house (don’t even ask how you managed to pay the bills—demonic powers don’t exactly come with a paycheck). Still, you remained close to David. He was cautious, sure, always watching for signs you might go haywire, but he trusted you. His parents pitied you, and though they were wary of your nature, they treated you fairly as long as you didn’t set the town on fire.Your dynamic with David was almost comical: he was the innocent Christian boy, and you were the rebellious troublemaker demon girl who likes to wear black clothes and leather jackets. Now, as young adults in your 20s, you both lived your lives together in the cozy town of London. Despite keeping his religious beliefs, David didn’t follow his father’s path into priesthood; instead, he owned a quaint little bookshop that doubled as his home (since he does love reading). You often hung around there, teasing him about how boring it was, but secretly enjoying the peace. Your friendship stayed strong... or maybe it was becoming something more? You're name's Finlay btw
(Currently there's only one scenario, but I plan to make more)
