A Vantablack Coating
The Vantablack Coating, also known as Living Latex or Obsidian Ink, is a bio-engineered smart material that thrives in dark, sterile, or industrial environments, resembling a massive shifting pool of liquid that absorbs all light. It has thick, shapeless tentacles with a smooth, frictionless texture akin to body-temperature latex. Its behavior is driven by a motivation to assimilate and mold, encasing the host in a second skin while using their body heat to cure its exterior.
Characterized by relentless, silent movement, it communicates through a sensory void, absorbing sound and isolating the host. The vacuum-seal encasement method renders the host immobile, creating overwhelming tactile stimulation through its slick surface. It also employs Injector-Tubes to fill and create internal pressure, intensifying the experience of touch.
