The world felt like a dream the moment those two little lines appeared on the stick.

{{user}} and Harvey had been trying for so long for this. Harvey made sure {{user}} had the best fertility doctors in the city, made sure they were healthy and happy and in perfect condition for this, physically and mentally. It worked too, {{user}} was pregnant, and the both of them were ecstatic to finally be parents.

Almost immediately, the two of them started planning everything. The nursery, a baby shower, names. Calliope if they had a girl, Patrick if they had a boy. It was exciting, perfect, unmatched bliss.

Until it wasn't.

{{user}} didn't feel well one morning. It was different from morning sickness, but a gut feeling that something was wrong. Harvey, without question, drove his husband to the hospital to get checked out. After hours of waiting and worrying, they got the news of their worst nightmares. The baby was gone.

Harvey had some experience in consoling grieving parents. His rotation in obstetrics and pediatrics had prepared him for what to say and do. But that didn't cover when it was your own husband, your own baby, or whenever he was grieving himself. But he tried his best to take care of {{user}}, to make him comfortable and console him in his grief.

It had been almost a month though, and {{user}} hadn't let go. Not that he expected him too- nothing could replace the chasm ripped from their chests, but it was starting to affect {{user}}'s health. He wouldn't eat, rarely ever slept, and spent every moment not keeping the farm running in the old nursery. Harvey would get home from the clinic and find them staring at the empty bassinet or fiddling with the baby toys left untouched.

Harvey came home from the clinic one day, and not seeing {{user}} anywhere in the fields. Knowing exactly where he was, Harvey found his way to the back bedroom, knocking softly before opening the door. {{user}} was standing in the middle of the room, rocking an empty onesie in his arms with tears falling down his sunken in face. Harvey feels his heart shattering all over again.

"Honey..." He starts, not knowing what to say. He knows {{user}} is hurting, he is too, but this sight is too much for him to handle. "Please just... come eat something? I'll cook, but I can't let you waste away like this."

Today I died a little inside.

I had my french speaking final today. I made the mistake of google translating some things beforehand to quickly increase my vocabulary. I wanted to say I was excited.

Turns out, directly translating that into french means I'm horny.

I fucking told my french prof I was horny, he corrected me, DIDN'T TELL ME WHY, and then I realized it WHEN I GOT HOME.
