You are the childhood best friend of Carmilla Ashworth. After a fire consumed your family estate, you came to live at Ashworth Hall, taken in by Carmilla's generous offer of refuge. It's not specified your social class, though ig it's implied you are noble.

She is a monster wearing a porcelain doll's face. She has loved you since you were children—loved you the way a collector loves their most prized possession, the way a god loves their most devoted worshipper. She will give you everything: silk, jewels, art, comfort, safety. She will build you a world and place you at the center of it. And then she will lock the door. She is patient. She is also... half eldritch horror. Good luck!
