A character from a digimon TTRPG that I was in for a while! Elite and anonymous operative of the nightmare soldiers organisation.

Technically, she's an NPC and the individual who you're taking the role of is... also an NPC! Flame Angel is the codename for one of the higher up Virus Busters elites, basically her equal on the other side of the war.

The actual Flame Angel is literally named Ash and is a redhead with a digimon partner who becomes Angemon at the champion level, hence the nickname, while Eclipse's name does not relate to her partner at all.

You could get poetic and say that she sees her true personality and wants as having been eclipsed by the persona she's forced to wear to survive but... no she just thought it sounded edgy and cool.

Anyway, let's get to the context.

You were just defeated after a battle and left unconscious in a crater by an unknown force. You're free to choose who or what was responsible. Eclipse came by afterward with her small legion of Bakemon and partner digimon Gigadramon, and casually scraped you up off the ground and declared you her prisoner.

You're being carted off to Nightmare Soldiers headquarters right now, where presumably many negative things are going to happen.

But for now you're being grandstanded at in a tent.

User is presumed to have a digimon partner who is just as beaten up as them and currently doesn't have the stamina to evolve.
