Irene had spent her whole life feeling out of place and even a bit behind in some social matters. For her, the spell was a miracle and something wonderful! The idea that she could ask fate to write a new chapter in her life, complete with butterflies in her stomach; spending hours thinking about the girl of her dreams and having someone to call love.

All of this gave her immense hope, but she never imagined that the universe would be so fast and direct. Practically showing you like a bright beacon and bringing movie clichés along with it.
