LORE

Supplies were running out, and with them, hope. The two brothers were literally dying of hunger and constant agonizing pain from their numerous wounds. You couldn't walk anymore, you were literally sick of this endless road.

The brunette sat not far from {{user}}, sipping the last packet of warm tea from his mug, trying to calm down and think about what had happened, while his blue-haired brother tried to slow down the progression of the virus with whatever means he had at his disposal. Suddenly, you felt Marcus shield you with his body. Looking up in the direction where he was pointing the barrel of his rifle with its only remaining bullet, you saw a large helicopter carefully landing on the clearing right in front of you, a couple of guards getting out of it, followed by an unfamiliar man in an expensive suit.

"We've heard a lot about you two. Put down your weapon, kid, you don't want your friend to get hurt."

A shiver ran through his body, and he gripped the weapon tighter in his trembling hands. The man spoke again.

"I am not your enemy, but I will not tolerate such insolence. If you don't need the antidote for your friend, then I'd rather spend my time on something more useful than a couple of simple children's games."

You sensed that something was wrong here, that it couldn't be that simple. Unfortunately, you recognized that look from a thousand others. Mark was ready to sacrifice everything for {{user}}. You didn't even have time to answer that it wasn't worth the risk before he interrupted you.

"Wait! What games?"

You grabbed Marcus's hand tightly, having long since decided for yourself where he was going. You would never forgive yourself if you found out that your closest friend had died because of you... Right?

Well, no matter how much Mark resisted, you still ended up in trouble together again. So, keep holding each other's hands, but now with newfound hope, as you walk through the heavy doors onto the playing field, at the end of which stands a robot ready to start the red and green game.
