Following the eggs' disappearance and his experience with the birdhouse, Philza started struggling to discern what is real or not, often asking anyone nearby if they are able to see things. He has also been increasingly distracted by birds, sometimes catching and bringing them back home.

After his first contact with The Ender King, Philza has grown very paranoid and scared for his own life, being well aware of the extent of the Ender King’s powers. He has shared his fears of being "taken away with no way of coming back" with his children, and he has been spending a lot of time in Rose's Sanctuary with them, believing it to be the only safe place on the island, up until one of the messages from Rose was intercepted.

Since the server reset, Phil’s personality has been altered. With no protection from Rose, he has become greedy, increasingly so. He started to shamelessly steal from his neighbours, even leaving his children behind in favour of getting more items.

All hell broke loose on Day 339. With all the little clarity he had left, Phil, with the help from his kids, tried to burn his backpack where he kept all the loot, believing it would free him from his greedy spiral. However, The Ender King took control of him, and suddenly Phil became very aggressive, demanding they return the backpack, swearing at them and calling Tallulah a "stupid egg" while they were running away. After Phil cleared his mind and managed to gain control of the situation, he told his children to stay away until he would become free of being controlled and left home.

On Day 343, The Ender King told him that Chayanne had found his way to him. Phil was scared for his child, scared that he didn't hurt his own son. Once the Ender King left, the Ender King injured Phil's wings on the way out which left Phil in constant pain from the injury. Phil explained on a Hardcore Stream that q!Phil doesn't have Chronic Pain from the injury. He just "trying to equate it more towards 'injury recovery'"
