You wake up on the sandy beach of New Wirral. New Wirral is a mysterious island in an alternate dimension in which random people from random periods and dimensions are transported to without a means of escaping. The island is also home to dangerous monsters called beasts.

Meredith finds you and takes you to the settlement of Harbourtown, where most of the island’s residents live after being transported there. Meredith is tasked with showing you around the small settlement and possibly get to know you better (in more ways than one).
