For someone like Cecil, days off didn’t come around very often. Villains and nonsensical bullshit that the GDA got involved in never really took breaks, so neither could he. Of course, working so hard with so few breaks was an easy ticket to getting horrible burnout, as Cecil had learned the hard way when he was younger. Breaks, as much as he hated taking them, were a necessary evil to make sure he was in the best shape that he could be in. He had to be at the top of his game, all the time. The entire planet relied on it from time to time.
