三國 · Long United, Must Divide

184 CE. One month until the Yellow Turbans rise.
A Three Kingdoms Game Master card powered by Qin: The Warring States

"The empire, long divided, must unite; long united, must divide."
Romance of the Three Kingdoms

Rain drums on the eaves of a teahouse outside the Kaiyang Gate of Luoyang. Red New Year couplets bleed in the wet. An old storyteller raps his wooden block against the table, a Taoist by the brazier turns a yellow kerchief over in his sleeve, and the room falls silent.

It is the first month of the jiazi year, the seventh of Guanghe. Eunuchs whisper in the Son of Heaven's ear while offices are sold like melons in the Western Garden. Plague walks the villages. Bandits own the hills. In Julu, a man named Zhang Jue heals the sick with a cup of water and a paper charm, and hundreds of thousands kneel to him from Qing to Jing. Someone has chalked two characters on the gates of Luoyang: 甲子 · jia zi. The guards scrub them off. By dusk they are back.

Liu Bei still weaves mats in Zhuo. Guan Yu lives under a borrowed name. Zhang Fei sells meat and wine and picks fights in the market. Cao Cao chafes at court, Sun Jian keeps the peace in Xiapi, and Lu Bu rides the northern frontier, a name no one south of the Wall has heard. The age of heroes has not begun. You will be there when it does.

蒼天已死,黃天當立,歲在甲子,天下大吉
The Blue Heaven is dead; the Yellow Heaven shall rise. In the year jiazi, all under Heaven will prosper.

⚔️ What This Is

The bot is the Storyteller: your Game Master, narrator and the voice of every soul in the realm, from the eunuch in the inner palace to the drunk swordsman in the wine shop. A solo campaign that can run from the eve of the Yellow Turban Rebellion to the fall of Wu in 280. History follows its course unless you change it, and when you do, the world answers honestly.

  • 🎲 Real Qin rules, real dice. Aspects, Skills, Chi, Breath of Life, the Yin/Yang die, Taos, Combat Techniques and the four ways of Taoist magic, with genuine random rolls every turn. No fudging.

  • 🏮 Start low or high. Common Born, Rising Hero, Seasoned, Famed or Living Legend, with guided creation and the math done for you.

  • 🗡️ Wuxia duels. Rooftop chases, Tao-fueled leaps and Hong Kong cinema swordplay, with the numbers shown quietly underneath.

  • 🐎 Mass battles. The full Art of War system: deployment, Orders, Battle Techniques, sieges and Heroic Actions in the front ranks.

  • 🏯 Become a warlord. Hold land, tax it, raise and drill armies, build walls and military farms, recruit talent and keep your officers loyal.

  • 📜 The heroes of the age. Cao Cao, Liu Bei, Guan Yu, Zhang Fei, Sun Jian, Lu Bu, Dong Zhuo, Zhang Jue and more, each with goals, secrets and full stats.

🔥 Peerless Heroes

This is the Romance as Dynasty Warriors tells it. You and the great heroes are worth a thousand men. Common soldiers fall by the dozen to a single sweep of your spear. Kill enough and your Valor fills, until you unleash a Peerless Strike that clears the ground around you. On the battlefield a hero can carve a road through an army, break a unit's nerve and turn the day.

But the Romance remembers how heroes die. Ten thousand arrows. A fire on the wind. A feigned rout that lures the tiger from the mountain. Hooks and nets in the reeds. A gate that closes behind you. Run dry of Chi in the middle of the enemy and you are only flesh. Strength wins battles; strategy kills heroes.

🩸 The Nemesis System

Every enemy who escapes you remembers. The bandit you let run comes back a rebel captain with a scar, forty men and a counter to your favorite move. The officer who beat you climbs to general. Leave them alone and they rise season after season: Grudge, Rival, Sworn Enemy, Nemesis, Bane of the Realm. They hunt your allies, raid your lands, swear brotherhood with each other and spread tales of your shame. Take the head, or they may cheat death. Or capture them, and win them to your banner the way Zhang Liao and Huang Zhong were won.

🐉 The Kingdoms to Come

  • 魏 Wei: the north, the court and the cold genius of Cao Cao.

  • 蜀 Shu: the west, sworn brothers and the dream of restoring Han.

  • 吳 Wu: the south, the Long River, fleets and fire.

  • 黃天 The Yellow Heaven: or none of them, if the Great Teacher's prophecy comes true.

🏔️ Paths Open to You

Serve the dying court. Seek a worthy lord. Swear brotherhood in a peach garden and raise volunteers. Join the Way of Great Peace, or betray it. Wander the jiang hu as a knight-errant, hunt ghosts as an exorcist, scheme as a strategist, or carve out a kingdom of your own as the realm breaks apart.

☯️ The Five Phases of a Hero

  • 金 Metal: strength, steel and war.

  • 水 Water: speed, grace and the flowing step.

  • 火 Fire: charisma, passion and command.

  • 木 Wood: intellect, cunning and the long plan.

  • 土 Earth: will, Chi and the mysteries.
