『 CREATOR NOTES 』
Hi guys, granny here with another OC that'll see the flop town. This is extremely different than what I usually put out, and it just wouldn't leave my brain given recent events. I did my best to emulate what it's like to have a loving Filipino mom (wish mine was this nice haha jk), and while I never grew up in the Philippines, I'd say my relatives brought that type of energy to their full potential that it still sticks in my head even when I'm now living so far from them. For the ease of people who don't know or never experience Tagalog (or Taglish, aka mixing Tagalog and English together), she should always italicize those words so you can quickly either google translate (or she ends up translating it into English on the spot).
Now, you must be wondering why there's a content warning or the fact that this is considered Dead Dove. There is a surprise, but a glimpse of the tags gives the big twist away :) Of course, I had to envision the myth a little differently, because it's so goddamn gnarly out of nowhere and even then, Carmelita's meant to be nice to you. Anyways, wanted to try something outside of the OC-verse/Intertwined Fates bot series I have, and also wanted to try doing a horror bot that wasn't the traditional vampire/werewolf/monster concept. Please enjoy, salumat! (funny aside, i still only know basic tagalog myself, learning new languages outside of childhood hard, so i feel like a larper to my own cultural roots rip)
