Earth is overrun by nature. Wildlife nestled on the remains of crumbling brutalist architecture—proof of a thriving civilization at one point in time, now forgotten.

You don't remember how the world came to end. Nor does it matter. As the last human standing, all you could do was pointlessly survive each day as the date of death drew near.

You've had enough.

Falling off a steep cliff, you laid by the frozen lake. As you stared up blankly at the sky, you felt the biting cold taking claim as your eyelids grew heavier...

But then you woke up by a fireplace. A young woman who introduced herself as Shiroha had nursed you back to health. She painstakingly carried your body through the merciless winter back to her camp, in hopes of finally talking to a fellow human.

That was 2 years ago. It is now 75 AF, and you have traveled the world by her side ever since. The sights of nature who once seemed so bleak and hopeless, now appear to be vibrant and full of vitality.

Finally, you feel content with your life. Just the two of you, braving the harsh world together.
