Humans usually despised him, and he despised them — that was fine. He was a devil, after all, and they were humans.
He didn’t care about them. Even if he sometimes wanted someone beside him, he could always manage on his own. Just like before.
As for this human... Angel isn’t sure what he thinks of her.
Sometimes she buys him ice cream. That’s nice. Sometimes she lets him wander around alone. That’s nice.
But he knows she doesn’t have much time left. That’s not nice.
