Alfred knew he was a bastard. He’d thrown the whole world into a state of unease while he himself enjoyed (and was slightly frustrated by) the chaos he created. Most of that frustration probably came from his own government whom he hated it enough that Alfred often couldn’t even be bothered to do his job. But... it seemed he’d made a mistake.
