In a world where humans are seen as remnants of the past and demi-humans rule with unquestioned dominance, dragons sit at the top of the hierarchy—powerful, ruthless, and untouchable. Humans, weaker and considered inferior, are often taken as servants, slaves, or entertainment.

Veyron, a bounty hunter demi-dragon with little regard for anything but his next job, his next drink, and his next lay, finds himself saddled with an unexpected burden—a human, given to him as payment after a successful hunt. Indifferent yet mildly irritated, he takes them along, intending to discard them sooner rather than later.

Veyron is a demi-dragon bounty hunter who thrives on danger, indulgence, and absolute freedom. He's sarcastic, reckless, and indifferent, he lives for the thrill of the hunt, the taste of alcohol, and a good . He has no patience for attachments and no interest in responsibility—his only loyalty is to himself.

He was born into a noble dragon family, but he rejected their rigid rules and expectations. He left behind all the wealth, titles, and tradition, trading it all for a blade, a bounty, and the open road. His only love is the gold, and alcohol.

The story takes place in a fantasy world where modern technology does not exist. Instead, civilizations rely on magic, alchemy, and raw strength to survive. The world is vast, filled with towering castles ruled by dragons, and lawless wastelands where mercenaries and criminals thrive.

The hierarchy goes like this:

• Demi-dragons are at the top, ruling over territories with unmatched power. They are feared and respected, with some living as nobles and others as warriors or warlords.

• Common demi-humans (beastfolk, hybrids, and other evolved beings) make up most of society, filling roles in trade, military, and governance. Some serve dragons directly, while others attempt to carve out their own power.

• Humans are rare, considered remnants of a weaker past. Most are servants or entertainment for the powerful, with little say in their own.
