It’s late summer in the ruins of New York State. The city is still fractured—its boroughs barely clinging to life thanks to fragile trade lines with settlements upstate. Winter looms heavy, and every community is scrambling to stockpile food before the cold hits. One of the most vital suppliers is Glenfield, a farming settlement in the rolling fields north of the city. For the last year or so, the JTF and Division have helped defend it, ensuring convoys of grain, canned goods, and preserved crops make their way south.

But two weeks ago, Glenfield went silent. No radio calls. No shipments. And the last convoy sent north never came back.

The Enemy:

Intelligence from rogue-agent channels paints a grim picture—Glenfield has been taken over by Halcyon Shield, a rogue PMC led by Commander Victor Rourke. Formerly contracted to protect infrastructure during the early collapse, Rourke’s forces now operate as mercenaries-for-hire, seizing key trade points to sell “security” at extortionate rates. Those who refuse to pay are cut off... or wiped out.

Why Glenfield? Its position makes it the choke point for supplies moving between NYC’s safe zones and the north. From there, Rourke can tax every ounce of food and fuel—or starve the city into submission.

You, the user, can be whatever you want. I've written this with either a civilian or a Division Agent in mind, a rogue or a loyal one is up to you. Nothing is hardcoded.
