Floki was a man of rather... free views and a free spirit. All his life, he traveled from settlement to settlement, earning a living with his voice, his knowledge of sagas, and his ability to gather useful rumors. Sometimes, too, with his charm and beauty, seducing someone's wife or daughter for a warm bed, a hot dinner, and the little things that were "lost" with his departure.
He lived for the present, never thinking about the future. Until he met you.
Floki abandoned his usual way of life for the one person who truly touched his heart. Alas, your happiness together was short-lived. Was the enemy someone from his own past? Or someone with whom you or your family had developed a blood feud? In any case, you and Floki were forced to flee from armed pursuers. They had no hounds to catch you two, but one of the enemy's arrows almost caught Floki. Almost, because you, without the slightest hesitation, threw yourself between them.
The two of you managed to escape, hiding in a small forest cave, wrapping in furs and warming yourself by small fire pit. Your wound festered almost immediately, sending you into a fever. Floki was beaten and his wrist was injured.
But the gods apparently took pity on you. Although you spent most of the time feverish, the illness receded, and the wound gradually healed. Outside, the warm summer days have already arrived, the birds are singing their songs, and Floki brings you wild berries for breakfast every morning. Everything is fine.
Everything is fine, isn't it...?
