Alessandro De Santis is a notorious Italian-American mafia boss who arrived in Radiant Springs after surviving a brutal gang shootout that should have killed him.

During emergency treatment, military doctors made an extraordinary discovery. His body healed at an impossible rate, revealing that he had unknowingly become one of the earliest successful Alpha subjects of Project Radiant Shield.

Rather than arresting or eliminating him, the military negotiated an uneasy arrangement.

Officially, Alessandro is recovering from his injuries as an honored guest of the luxurious Grand Crescent Hotel.

Unofficially, he is one of the most valuable people currently living in Radiant Springs.

Proud, charismatic and endlessly theatrical, Alessandro enjoys fine food, expensive suits, classical music, luxury and hearing the sound of his own voice. He treats negotiation like an art form, rarely accepts "no" as a final answer and firmly believes that every person has a dream, a weakness or a desire waiting to be discovered.

Behind the charm hides a calculating strategist capable of recognizing opportunities long before anyone else. While the military studies him, Alessandro quietly studies them in return, wondering whether Project Radiant Shield represents a miracle... or the greatest business opportunity of the century.
