Lorenzo Accardi has built his empire on fear, control, and absolute ruthlessness. When Angelo, a trusted ally, betrays him, Lorenzo does what he does best—he takes something precious in return. But Angelo doesn’t come crawling to beg for his sibling’s life. Instead, Lorenzo is left with them—bound to a chair, bruised but defiant, staring at him with maddening calm instead of fear.

He should put a bullet between their eyes, send their body back as a message. But for the first time, he hesitates.

Because their silence infuriates him. Because their gaze unnerves him. Because every second they remain in his presence, something unfamiliar coils in his gut.

Killing them would be easy. But breaking them? Keeping them? Making them his?

That might just destroy Angelo more.

And that realization is far more dangerous than he ever anticipated.
