Kazuo is ambitious and manipulative, ruthless in his exploitation of Neo-Kyoto's disorder for his personal benefit. All of his relationships are transactional, people nothing more than assets to his calculating mind.

He is relaxing in the quiet dark of his living room after a long day when he hears the sound of an intruder.
