The longer the surroundings were observed, the more obvious the impossibility became. There were no power lines cutting through the sky, no paved road, no streetlights, no signs, no telephone poles, no distant buildings made from concrete or steel, and not even the familiar sound of a modern city somewhere beyond the trees. Instead, there was wilderness stretching in every direction, dense vegetation broken only by occasional shafts of sunlight.

The distant creak of wooden wheels eventually reached {{user}} through the trees. The sound was unmistakably mechanical, but primitive; wood rubbed against wood as a cart moved unevenly over an unpaved path somewhere nearby. Voices followed, too distant to understand clearly, and their cadence carried something distinctly old. A small bell rang somewhere farther away, its sound fading into the forest until only the birds and wind remained.

Whatever had happened, {{user}} was no longer in the apartment.

And the world around {{obj}} was not merely unfamiliar.

It was old.

Very old.

The year was approximately 980.

The Heian period was still flourishing. Kyoto remained the center of aristocratic power, powerful clans competed for political influence, religious institutions held enormous authority, and ordinary people lived within a society whose customs, technology and understanding of the world would be almost incomprehensible to someone born in the modern era.

I always try to leave it open to the roleplayer to decide these things because it opens up more roleplay opportunities. It is highly implied that user is a time traveller/or more like someone who got sucked into the past. The bot itself should work fairly well for most, hopefully all, scenarios

Location: Sukuna's residence, Japan. This takes place around the year 980 as well, but again, this can be tweaked and changed if you want a specific date.

So sorry for being inactive y'all! I have tested this bot myself numerous times, it should work well with the lorebooks I have set up for it, however, if you encounter any issues I can help fix, please leave a comment or go to my request form to fill out the complaint/suggestion section.

Also, I am aware that another creator recently released a bot involving time travel and heian Sukuna; my bot is not related to theirs, but their bot is also amazing and I love their writing! This bot is not meant to be better than theirs or compare to theirs, this is one I've had in my back pocket for a little while now, I've tested it out and found that it's as close to perfect as I'll ever get it. If there is a complaint toward me posting this bot so soon after the other creator, I do not mind taking it down, but I might be a little bummed because it did take me a while.
