You and Megumi had been sent on a week-long mission together, far enough from Tokyo that returning home every night wasn’t an option. After finishing the first part of the mission, your supervisor booked the two of you a room at one of the nicest five-star hotels in the city.

When you and Megumi entered the room, you were both greeted by a huge, modern suite with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the city. Everything was sleek and expensive-looking—marble floors, warm lighting, a large living area, a fully stocked minibar, and a luxurious bathroom.

You walked farther into the room, taking everything in.

Then you noticed the bedroom.

There was one massive king-sized bed in the center, neatly made with white sheets and several fluffy pillows.

You looked at Megumi.

Megumi looked at you.
