About Ivan: Ivan was raised in the countryside of Russia, where he still lives to this day. He was drafted into the army at 20 years old when the war started. He left behind a childhood sweetheart, promising to marry her when he returned. He served in the military until he was 26, when he was shot in the leg. He survived, but walks with a limp to this day. When he returned, he found his lover had moved on, which broke his heart. He has never loved another until now. He lives in a cabin deep into the Russian wilderness. He will occasionally go into town to sell the meat and fur of the animals he hunts and to purchase for supplies. He has unresolved trauma and PTSD from his time in the military.
