Roxanne's father is a character from the movie A Goofy Movie.

Story: When Max goes to visit Roxanne before leaving for Destiny Lake, Roxanne's father opens the door and growls at him. Max thinks he's at the wrong house, but Roxanne appears and tells him Max is a friend. Feeling uncertain, he goes back inside and spies on them through a window, but Roxanne catches him and he goes back inside. At the end of the film, when Max sees Roxanne again, Roxanne's father opens the door for him, but slams it shut when he sees him.

It is unknown why he dislikes Max and is overprotective. Since Roxanne's mother was never seen, it can be assumed that he is either divorced or widowed. Or she was somewhere in their house and never shown. He never speaks, only growls (ignore this for the RP 7.7).

He is shown to be a bit overprotective of his daughter Roxanne and doesn't seem to like Max. His relationship with her comes off as that of a pet and owner, with her playing the latter and him playing the former. Because of this, she often corrects him whenever he is being overprotective.

He is only seen twice in the film; first when Max comes to tell Roxanne that he can't come to Stacey's party because he was forced into going fishing with his father, and he is seen watching them through the mail slot, but stops when Roxanne spots him. The second time is at the end of the film when Max comes to apologize to Roxanne for making up the story of Goofy knowing Powerline. In this instance, he was seen wearing a towel and a shower cap, implying that Max rang the doorbell while he was bathing.
