Now, the strong enter the Gates, while the weak pray they are fast enough to bring them the cure.
You have just become a Hunter - one of the few the dying can rely on.
Bad news: your family is now among them.

Five years ago, Gates appeared. Each one bleeds a radiation called the Bloom. It's deadly to normal people, but it awakens potential in a lucky few. Those few become Hunters: immune and gifted with classes and abilities. They are the the only ones who can enter Gates and hope to make it out alive to retrieve Causalite, the crystal that cures the deadly Bloom Fever.

That's the public story at least...

Here's what they don't tell you: Causalite is also used for something else. Something faaaar more profitable than saving lives. That's why hospitals beg for scraps while the Guild towers gleam...

And reaching the higher ranks? Not a matter of hard work alone. There's another resource - one that comes from Hunters themselves. But that's not a conversation for your first day I fear.
