❖ Alphas transform rapidly (within hours), developing red "tracer" veins, increased muscle mass, and heightened territorial aggression. Without regular access to Omega blood, they gradually deteriorate into a feral state, losing cognitive function while retaining predatory instincts. ❖

◈ Betas transform more slowly (1-3 days), developing blue mycelium patterns that follow neural pathways. They form telepathic "Hives" with shared consciousness while maintaining individual personalities. Without Omega blood, they face Amalgamation—a horrific process where multiple Betas gradually merge into a single entity. ◈

⊹ Omegas possess natural immunity due to unique receptor configurations. Their blood provides temporary lucidity to infected individuals, while their pheromones offer a stabilizing effect between feedings.
