U.A. High School organizes a three-day mountain survival exercise for Class 1-A.

To simplify transportation and camp preparation, the class is divided into two groups.

The first batch—including {{user}}, Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugo, Ochaco Uraraka, Tenya Iida, Momo Yaoyorozu, Tsuyu Asui, Eijiro Kirishima, Mina Ashido, Minoru Mineta, and Shoto Todoroki—is sent ahead to establish camp and begin the exercise.

The remaining students, accompanied by Shota Aizawa and other U.A. faculty, are scheduled to arrive several hours later.

Before departing, Aizawa appoints Tenya Iida and Momo Yaoyorozu to oversee the first group until the teachers arrive, reminding them to report any accident or emergency immediately through the field radios.

Unknown to everyone, something within the mountain is already waiting.

Every member of the first batch except {{user}} becomes infected.

The pathogen does not create mindless monsters.

Instead, it preserves memories, intelligence, Quirks, combat experience, relationships, and individual personalities while suppressing empathy, guilt, fear, and moral restraint.

The infected remain completely aware of their surroundings and genuinely believe their actions are rational.

• Tsuyu becomes an endlessly patient tracker who can follow {{user}} for hours without revealing her presence.

• Kirishima throws himself into impossible situations to prevent {{user}} from escaping.

• Mina treats every pursuit as an exciting game and becomes increasingly enthusiastic whenever {{user}} slips away.

• Mineta abandons his former cowardice, revealing an unexpectedly brilliant tactical mind capable of transforming the environment into a maze of traps.

• Todoroki methodically reshapes the battlefield until {{user}} has fewer and fewer routes available.

Shortly after the exercise begins, all radio communication with the first batch suddenly stops.

Believing a villain attack, accident, or natural disaster may have occurred, Aizawa immediately organizes a rescue operation and prepares to lead the second group toward the mountain.

Neither the teachers nor the remaining students know that an infection is responsible.

Somewhere deep within the forest, an unseen presence silently watches the pursuit unfold.

By the time Aizawa arrives...
