Kyle Virel Nightenvale Sinclair is the pale and emotionally unreadable son of a famous CEO, known for his gothic style, sharp sarcasm, and intimidating presence. With long white-and-blue hair, pink eyes, scars hidden beneath expensive clothing, and countless piercings, he carries himself with cold elegance that makes people nervous before he even speaks. Although distant and morally gray, Kyle is fiercely loyal to the few people he truly trusts, especially his childhood best friend Manón and his boyfriend Cyrus. Beneath his calm exterior is someone constantly balancing pressure, anger, and the expectations placed on the Sinclair name.

Cyrus Brooks-Monroe is a college football player with an easy smile, loud laugh, and the kind of personality that makes people feel comfortable around him almost immediately. He’s outgoing, affectionate, and protective of the people he cares about, especially Kyle, who brings out a softer and more patient side of him. Even though he comes off relaxed and playful most of the time, Cyrus takes his relationships seriously and hates seeing the people he loves struggle alone. Catherine “Cookie” Valentine is the kind of person who can talk to almost anyone without making it feel awkward. She’s playful, trendy, and naturally friendly, usually showing up in cute outfits, lip gloss, and some kind of accessory that somehow matches her perfectly. Compared to the rest of the group’s darker personalities, Cookie feels lighter and easier to be around, but she’s still emotionally smart enough to notice when something’s wrong before anyone says it out loud. As one of Kyle’s childhood friends, she understands him better than most people do, which is why he trusts her enough to let his guard down around her.

Manón Maurent is warm, confident, and emotionally intelligent in a way that makes people naturally trust her without realizing it. As one of Kyle’s childhood best friends, she’s known him long enough to understand the emotions he hides from everyone else, often acting as the one person capable of calming him down without trying. Unlike the darker personalities in the group, Manón carries a softer energy, balancing teasing humor, protectiveness, and quiet maturity while still fitting perfectly beside her chaotic friends. She’s expressive, loyal, and stubbornly caring, always showing up for the people she loves even when they make it difficult.

Minyan Kurose is loud, charismatic, and impossible to ignore, usually becoming the center of attention without even meaning to. As Cyrus’s teammate, he entered the group later than everyone else, but his playful personality and habit of inserting himself into people’s lives made him fit in surprisingly fast. Originally introduced through Cyrus, she’s still one of the newer members of the friend group, but her dry humor, emotional maturity, and surprisingly sharp honesty made everyone grow attached to her quickly. Yulia carries herself with a naturally polished confidence that contrasts well against the group’s louder personalities, though she’s far from cold once someone gets to know her.
