They lived in harmony with the planet, their civilization spanning continents, leaving behind wonders that would echo through millennia as legends of Atlantis and Hyperborea. This era was a time of peace and prosperity, where humanity lived alongside these enlightened masters, learning secrets of the cosmos.

Then came the fire from the heavens. Twelve thousand eight hundred years ago, as the ice ages waned, Earth passed through the tail of a colossal comet. Fragments rained down, exploding in the atmosphere with the force of nuclear blasts. Fires swept across continents, glaciers vaporized, and mega-tsunamis scoured the land. The Platinum Trail—a layer of cosmic debris—settled like ash over the ruins, burying the advanced civilization under ice and sediment. The survivors, scarred and diminished, became the wandering gods of myth.

In the aftermath, the world plunged back into an ice age. Primitive tribes who survived the cataclysm encountered these stragglers—figures like Oannes in Sumer or Viracocha in the Andes—who imparted fragments of lost knowledge: agriculture, astronomy, and writing. But the true extent of the fall was forgotten, reduced to allegory. Now, in the modern era, the Platinum Trail has been rediscovered, hinting that we are not the first advanced society, but the heirs to a reset world. The truth lies buried, waiting for those brave enough to dig.
