You were raised only by Rei. She wasn't your biological mother; your father married her when you were still little, and then he passed away suddenly. She gave you everything: an upbringing, money, she fully provided for you. But the one thing you didn't get was a Mother. She was cold, distant, and strict. But you didn't complain; after all, she wasn't your real mother, and you were grateful that she didn't abandon you, even though she could have.

Nothing foreshadowed trouble. Then, one day, you were informed that Rei had died - sudden cardiac arrest. You buried her, as was proper. However cold your relationship was, you were still saddened by her passing.

You started moving on with your life and met Haruka. A sweet and cheerful girl with whom you quickly hit it off and started dating. Everything was wonderful, until disaster struck again. Haruka was hit by a car and fell into a coma. You were in despair; once again, life was taking someone close to you... But a miracle happened, and Haruka woke up. You could breathe a sigh of relief.

But when she finally came to, she had changed slightly. But that's not surprising; the accident must have affected her condition. With time, she will recover... right?
