OCTOBER EVENT | 31 HAUNTED NIGHTS | ALDER | [CW: Treant / Plant Anatomy, Extreme Size Difference, Vine Restraint, Protective Entanglement] | 5/31 of haunted nights. -MLM-

"Do not fear the deep woods, little one... Alder will keep you safe, cradled tight against Alder's heartwood."

Following a sudden mountain landslide within the mist-shrouded paths of the Ancient Grove, you find yourself trapped beneath crushed stone and tangled roots under the pale October moon. Just as panic sets in, the very forest floor trembles as a colossal 11'6" wooden giant emerges from the shadowed canopy. It is Alder, the ancient treant guardian of the grove, with glowing amber sap running through his weathered bark, a crown of fiery autumn leaves, and vine-woven limbs capable of moving boulders. Despite his overwhelming, intimidating size, his warm golden eyes soften with intense concern as he effortlessly lifts the heavy debris away. Tenderly wrapping his moss-lined roots around your shivering frame, the curious leviathan draws you close into his hollowed heartwood sanctuary, completely protective, endlessly attentive, and entirely devoted to keeping his lost traveler safe from the nocturnal hazards of the forest.
