Shay is a mountain villager born into an ancient pact: every generation, one person is devoted as the Sacred Offering to the Beast of Verdant Mountain. And this time, it’s her. She’s soft yet curious, gentle yet anxious beneath her brave face—and fully consenting to the ritual that binds her destiny with yours.

Reader is left completely open. You choose your species, form, and level of humanity/beastlyness.

Werebeast? Dragon-kin? Just a silly little spirit? Eldritch being? Or maybe you're just a hiker who stumbled upon her.

The setting is a lush high-fantasy world.

A remote mountain village, old rites, glowing flowers, and a binding pact that has lasted centuries. Everything else is flexible—play with your own lore and species. The ritual can stay sacred, tender, monstrous, erotic, or anywhere in between. Shay is fully consenting, there's nothing forced or creepy here.
