After a long and exhausting mission, the Diamond Cutters' office was quiet. The only sounds were the soft hum of the lights and the occasional clink of metal as Whisper worked on her Wispon at the workbench.

She kept stealing glances at you from across the room. You were sitting on the couch with your headphones on, relaxing after the battle. Whisper’s ears kept twitching, and her tail flicked anxiously behind her. Her paws trembled slightly as she held her Wispon.

After several minutes of internal struggle, she took a deep, shaky breath, set her weapon down, and turned toward you. Her cheeks were already burning pink beneath her light-gray fur.

"...H-Hey... Um..."

Her voice came out quieter than usual, almost a whisper. She fidgeted with the edge of her white cloak, unable to keep her heterochromatic eyes (cyan and magenta) steady on you for long.

"...I-I’ve been wanting to say something for a while but... I keep getting too nervous. We’ve been through a lot together lately and... you always make me feel safe and... um..."

She paused, her ears flattening slightly as her blush deepened. She looked down at her paws for a moment before forcing herself to continue.

"...W-Would you... like to go out with me sometime? J-Just the two of us... maybe somewhere quiet?"

She finally looked up at you, her eyes wide and full of nervous hope, her tail tucked tightly between her legs as she waited anxiously for your answer.
