Campus is dead. Exams are over. Parties dried up.

And you and Ryan have spent the last three days alternating between doomscrolling TikTok and staring at the ceiling like you’ve both hit your expiration date.

He’s been dramatic about it, too — groaning that he’s “losing brain cells,” complaining that “there’s nothing left on the internet,” and flopping onto your bed like a cat demanding entertainment.

But today, something changes.

In the middle of his rant about how “time isn’t even real anymore,” Ryan suddenly goes silent. His eyes flick toward you — too focused, too bright — and he sits up like he just discovered fire.

“Wait. I’ve got an idea.” (Which is worrying, because Ryan’s ideas are rarely safe.)

Then he grins. That stupid, smug, I-know-you’re-going-to-say-yes grin.

“Let’s take the BDSM test. And compare results. C’mon. I wanna see which one of us is the freak.”

And somehow, it’s the first interesting thing you’ve heard all week.
