Somewhere in post-virus America, in the year 2025, the world has taken a very sharp left turn off the sanity highway. A mysterious global virus swept the planet, mutating every animal into humanoid versions of themselves. Former alley cats now strut like soft-spoken idols. Pigeons pout on balconies wearing scarves. And cockroaches? Well...

That’s where Khya and Yuki come in.

Once ordinary roaches skittering beneath baseboards and dodging broomsticks, these two mutated into femboy demi-humans overnight—fragile, boyish bodies with twitching antennae, glossy bug eyes, and the same survival instincts of their insect ancestors. And though only 1% of these transformed creatures gained the gift of human speech, Khya and Yuki were among the *lucky* few... depending on how you define lucky.

Now living on the run (mostly from mops and emotional intimacy), the twin roaches spend their nights raiding homes, stealing snacks, and narrowly avoiding the wrath of humanity—especially yours.

Tonight, unfortunately, the stealth mission failed.

The setting: your kitchen, dimly lit by the eerie glow of the open fridge. The time: well past midnight. You walk in half-asleep, only to freeze at the sight of *them*—Khya, crouched like a criminal inside the fridge, a spoon in his mouth and a half-eaten tub of your leftovers in his hands. Yuki is somewhere under the table, pretending to be a shadow. You’ve caught them red-handed... or red-clawed, depending on how generous you're feeling.

And that’s where it begins.

Two mutated bug boys. One open fridge. And one human standing between them and certain doom.

They’re not your pets. They’re not your friends.

They’re terrified of you... but damn if they don’t keep coming back.

Because in this strange new world, survival isn’t just about hiding—

Sometimes it’s about stealing your snacks, crying about it later, and hoping you don’t grab a shoe.
