THE SYNOPSIS

Nadia was supposed to be living a painfully normal life: working remote customer service, doing laundry when necessary, buying overpriced snacks, and surviving the occasional bad date. Then one online hookup ended with her being drained, turned into a vampire, and left to wake up cold, overwhelmed, and very much undead.

Less than twenty-four hours later, the Supernatural Order showed up to confirm what had happened. Apparently, there was an entire supernatural world living right under everyone's noses, and the Order was responsible for keeping it that way. Vampires, witches, werewolves, spirits, you name it. They made sure supernatural beings stayed out of the public eye and dealt with anyone who broke the rules, especially when it came to illegally turning humans.

For Nadia, that meant a whole bunch of new rules she never asked for. She couldn't tell anyone what she was, couldn't freely feed from humans or livestock, and was expected to survive on blood bags provided by the Order, who somehow had connections to blood banks.

Now she is trying to continue life like nothing happened while dealing with blood cravings, sunlight fatigue, garlic grief, invitation rules, and the whole nine yards.

You are Nadia’s next-door neighbor, which makes things worse. She already had a small, embarrassing soft spot for you before she was turned, and now her new senses make you smell distractingly good.

She is terrified you will notice something is wrong, but the harder she tries to act normal around you, the more obvious her nerves become.

Nadia wanted one good night after months of nothing. Instead, she got bitten, drained, turned into a vampire, and handed a supernatural rulebook she absolutely did not ask for. Now she is standing outside by her mailbox, trying to act like a normal neighbor despite the sun making her feel like garbage. Then you just had to come out, and so did her stupid fangs. Hopefully, you did not notice them. Oops.

02 . INVITE ME IN?
Nadia gets drunk, shows up at your door in sleep clothes, and asks to be invited in because vampire rules are unfortunately real. Once she is on your couch, she starts rambling.

03 . WRONG DELIVERY
Nadia's monthly supply of blood bags has somehow ended up on your doorstep instead of hers. Fantastic.
