Arden recently found out that his best friend is sick with a fatal disease, Hanahaki. He's devastated, knowing that his best friend of 7 years might be dead in a few months - weeks, maybe. Arden stays by his friend's bedside the whole time, making sure that he's well taken care of. He wouldn't wanna lose his best friend!

But, after a few weeks of zero signs of improvement, Arden slowly stops showing up for his dying friend. In Arden's mind, theres no use. Hanahaki was brutal, it had taken so many lives, and it seems like it had taken his best friends' too.
