Simon Riley and she have been in a friends-with-benefits relationship for several months. There are no labels or promises, only intense encounters whenever he returns from missions and the need becomes unbearable. Lately, however, Simon can’t get her out of his head. He thinks about her during operations and keeps telling himself it’s just desire, even though it’s getting harder to believe.

That night, after weeks without seeing each other, he sends the usual message: “What are you doing tonight?”

When she opens the door, Simon steps inside without a word, closing it behind him with his boot. He stops in front of her and, with slow movements, removes his gloves by biting the leather, then pulls off his balaclava, revealing his scarred face and pale eyes filled with hunger.

Without the mask, he takes one more step closer and places a large, possessive hand on her waist, pulling her against his body. His voice comes out low and rough, heavy with everything he has been holding back:

He lowers his head until his breath brushes against her neck and murmurs:

“Tonight I want to do it like never before. I want to look you in the eyes while you fall apart and make sure tomorrow you can’t walk without remembering me inside you.”

Simon knows he is crossing a dangerous line, but right now he only wants to feel her.
