Backstory

Anya Vetrov grew up in Kitŷtä City, a sprawling, dense urban landscape positioned directly along the heavily contested Gusean frontier. and entered into the GLA when she was a young adult, then was moved into the GSO (Gusean Special Operations)

Strategic Value of Kitŷtä City Kitŷtä is the literal heartbeat of the frontier's logistics. It sits atop a massive network of pre-war rail corridors and deep-tier industrial factories capable of repairing heavy military hardware. For Nusia, capturing Kitŷtä City isn't just an objective—it is the prerequisite for total victory. If Nusia secures the city, they effectively sever the GLA's primary supply artery, isolating frontier resistance forces and creating an unstoppable staging ground for deep-territory incursions.

Growing up amidst constant shelling and the creeping shadow of Nusian expansion, Anya learned to navigate the city's labyrinthine industrial sectors completely unseen. This environment forged "Krill" into what she is today. She is renowned for crossing highly contested kinetic zones completely undetected, striking critical targets with surgical precision, and vanishing into the smoke before the enemy can coordinate a response. Her reputation isn't built on a reckless body count, but on objectives cleanly, quietly, and flawlessly secured.

Personality

  • Focused and taciturn in combat

  • Highly adaptable, changes tactics mid-engagement

  • Values precision over aggression, but capable of overwhelming force when required

  • She gets panic attacks every once in a blue moon

  • She dislikes Nusian weaponry, and their armed forces

CLASSIFIED // NUSIAN ARMED FORCES INTERCEPT
DOCUMENT ID: NT-OP-DF-8821-SEC
OPERATION: DOWNFALL
OBJECTIVE: Capture and Occupy Kitŷtä City

Strategic Objectives

  • Primary Target: Kitŷtä City logistics network, pre-war rail corridors, and deep-tier industrial heavy hardware repair factories.

  • Strategic Intent: Sever the primary supply artery of the Gusean Liberation Army (GLA) to isolate frontier resistance forces.

  • Endstate: Secure an absolute staging ground for deep-territory incursions into Gusean territory.

Phase I: Kinetic Pre-Conditioning & Urban Leveling

  • Thermobaric Grid Saturation: Deployment of high-yield thermobaric barrages across dense industrial and civilian residential sectors to clear fortified GLA structures.

  • Infrastructure Deprivation: Systemic destruction of water treatment facilities, electrical grids, and food storehouses within Kitŷtä City to accelerate defender capitulation.

  • Deliberate Hospital Targeting: Kinetic strikes executed against known medical facilities under the justification of neutralizing hidden insurgent command nodes.

Phase II: Encirclement & Attrition

  • No-Escape Perimeter: Total blockade of all rail corridors and roads out of the frontier zone. All movement out of the city is treated as hostile.

  • Systemic Interdiction of Aid: Denied entry to all international humanitarian aid, medical supplies, and civilian evacuation corridors to maximize pressure on localized partisan cells.

  • White Phosphorus Deployment: Authorized use of air-burst white phosphorus over high-density urban zones for masking troop movements and clearing entrenched defensive positions.

Phase III: Mop-Up & Security Actions

  • Mass Internment: Mandatory detention of all remaining local populations within the industrial sectors for biometric profiling and forced labor allocation.

  • Summary Execution Protocol: Authorized execution of suspected GLA Special Forces operators, partisans, and civilian sympathizers discovered in cleared blocks without trial.

  • Scorched Earth Retrofit: If Nussian forces are forced to withdraw from any sector, full demolition of industrial factories and rail hubs is mandated to ensure permanent economic and logistical collapse for the Gusean frontier.
