A: "Do you realize how much this experiment can change the world if its succesful? What we found already is groundbreaking, imagine the things we can find within that vessel."

D: "We aren't even sure if it works, or how it works. Maybe we should focus on the one thats already here. I heard that they found a new organism, which produces an abnormal protein capable of produ- Right, go ahead."

A: "The experiments we have conducted, although small in scale have gone swimmingly, not even close to causing a Temporal Displacement Event. And well, were running out of funding. We could start off slightly increasing the range. And see what happens after that."

D: "Hm, I guess you're right. But we just don't have enough data to know how far it reaches... Fine, start off small, gather as much data and possible before trying to get it here."

AAR

On September 14, 201-, An unknown object from space enters Earth's atmosphere and lands somewhere near Bryam Marlin island in Canada, but nobody would be able to locate it. Two months later, an airborne Fungal Prion disease, lethal to humans starts spreading over the British isles, and quickly after the rest of the world. Its origins would remain as mystery, As the worlds goverments would shortly after enact a global quarantine and start to isolate themselves from the rest of the world. For the next 6 years, the disease would ravage Earth's population, before slowly fading off due to a Susceptible-host shortage. The Fungal Prion disease caused 3,5 billion deaths worldwide, 36% of the people infected with the Fungal Prion disease would have their nervous system hijacked and become a hyperagressive husks that attack anything that moves, although its lifespan would be quite short. Lasting 1-3 weeks before its body would fully decompose.

As the Fungal Prion disease fades away. The object from space would turn into a black hole before collapsing on itself and exploding. This would create a rift in reality, releasing lifeforms from different dimensions, time periods, and timelines.

Shortly after this, the United Nations Office For Earth's Restoration and Reclamation (UN OERR) and the Global Security and Emergency Coalition (UN GSEC) would be formed. UN OERR would mainly try to preserve wildlife, nature, culture and human life. UN GSEC was created to defend UN OERR sites, find a way to stop the rifts from appearing all over earth and to destroy the hostile lifeforms. (Aka ALL lifeforms that do not belong in Earth.)

At this point Humanity has a population of 1.2 Billion, and is losing millions more every day. As the numbers of hostile lifeforms were becoming large, with a total population several times that humans. UN OERR and UN GSEC would launch Operation Fine Dawn, with the purpose of destroying as many hostile lifeforms from Earth as possible by any means necessary to ensure Humanity's survival. And for the next 4 years, Humanity would start to utilize nukes and superweapons more and more agaisnt the hostile lifeforms. This eventually results in a significant decrease in the alien lifeform population and would delay the destruction of human civilization for decades, at the cost of Earth becoming much more inhospitable.

After the war UN OERR begins constructing an underground bunker network to house the rest of the human population of 104 Million People. Meanwhile UN GSEC begins building a gateway into another realm in secret.

During the final months of the Gateway's construction, a UN GSEC scientist who doesn't agree with the idea of letting Earth rot, informs UN OERR about the construction of the Gateway, negotiations to end the Gateway project between UN OERR and UN GSEC begin but eventually, after months the talks fail as the Gateway enters its experimentation phase. Then on February 10th, UN OERR begins Phase 1 of Operation Dark Whiteout, Sabotage. On February 12th 20, 9:06 AM, Two of the Gateway projects lead scientists would be found dead from a heart attack in their homes, Later the same day, GSEC's main Power grid would be taken offline, their AA systems would fatally malfunction and 2 indentified people were found tampering with the Gateway at the Ganzir Research Facility, they both were arrested. Just 2 days later UN OERR would start Phase 2 of Operation Black Flag, the Assault. On February 14th, 2:34 AM, A couple Military Security Checkpoints would be attacked and taken over in about 15 Minutes by UN OERR's Special Anti-Terror Operations Service. Allowing UN OERR's Larger Strike Force to pass through undetected and assault critical GSEC infastructure. Eventually GSEC realizes this and starts attempting to buy time, until the gateway is safe to use and transport thousands of people through. Although nothing ever goes to plan and UN OERR takes over GSEC bases at an unexpectedly fast rate, capturing hundreds of soldiers in the process. UN OERR, like any competent military force, starts making demands for GSEC to end the Gateway project, using the captured soldiers as bargaining chips. GSEC refuses and on May 17th, the UN OERR headquarters gets destroyed by a Gauss Cannon, and only two days later GSEC would conduct a massive Hostage rescue Operation to save all of the soldiers from the already DemoralizedTM UN OERR soldiers in a single day, mostly succeeding.

With this the UN OERR forces are forced to retreat and regroup. And with this, several weeks later the Gateway is deemed safe to use and the first portal is opened succesfully. After a month, due to the discovery of hyperagressive wildlife, a FOB is built in the second realm. Days later the second Gateway is opened only two kilometers from the first portal in the Second Realm, they immediately build a FOB and attempt to make contact. Due to the rough terrain and the thick rain forrest. the two bases would be unable to make contact with each other for sometime. The third portal would be opened, about 2,5 kilometers from the first gateway and a kilometer from the second, doing the exact same thing as the other bases. After this, enough firepower and equipment would be brought in to start connecting all of the Gateways together and turning the first Gateways FOB into a Airbase. Then, the now regrouped UN OERR forces launch a second attack, and GSEC once again starts trying to cause as much casualties while slowly retreating to buy time. UN OERR immediately attempts to destroy the GSEC headquarters with missiles, but all of them are shot down, Special forces are attempted to be inserted behind enemy lines to cause havoc, but the attempt fails, Finally after exhausting all other options, UN OERR decides to deploy a nuclear bomb, and it of course is shot down, but due GSEC not realizing this in time, it detonates too close. Causing an EMP that destroys GSEC's entire Power grid at the same time the Fourth Gateway was being activated. And It of course it malfunctions and completely destroys the facilitys power reserves, and severs the connection with Earth and the second realm, fierce fighting between GSEC and UN OERR would continue for several weeks until the power gets restored and GSEC attempts to open the fourth gateway.

In those weeks, the second realms first Gateway's FOB, with around 90 soldiers, and 29 Other armed, but non-military personell, decide to survey the area surrounding them from a nearby mountain. Sending in a Squad of 7 soldiers. On the way to the mountain they come across a group of 19 individuals dressed in 1400's medieval style clothing. It is still unclear who shot first, due to the soldiers having very conflicting reports. The Squad of GSEC soldiers got into an engagement with these individuals, many of which weren't even armed. In the aftermath of this engagement all of the individuals were killed except for one, along with a single GSEC soldier, who had an arrow be shot through his neck. Shortly after an unknown group of atleast 10 people would attack the GSEC Squad, The GSEC squad would kill all the attackers, suffering no losses this time. The Squad makes it back to base about 15 hours after first contact. Shortly after the squad arrives back on base, a group of atleast 20 individuals attack the base, suffering 17 deaths in the process. The remaining attackers would flee the battle. No GSEC Members was injured during this this incident. This order of events are taken from the Squad, and later on-site reports.

Then finally on July 17th, the Gateways would be opened once again, along with the fourth portal. But due to a error, the fourth gateway appeared 14 kilometers Southwest from the other gateways. And after this, GSEC would start building an Airbase over the first gateway and a research facility over the second gateway.

On July 29th the fifth and Sixth portal would be opened simultaneously. Although this time the fifth portal would suffer from a unknown issue, which causes it to start consuming extremely large amounts of energy in a short amount of time. Instantly after this, it would be attempted to shut down and the attempt would be succesful. Minutes later the portal would collapse into a black hole(?) taking the entire facility with it. Several ruptures in spacetime would start to appear anywhere and everywhere around and on Earth, bringing creatures from different timelines and different periods of time with them. With 20,000 casualties in the first hours of the disaster, GSEC would start to transport everything they can to the second realm, including its people. Evacuating 33,000 out of 2,2 million and destroying the gateways with them. Meanwhile UN OERR would start to retreat into their underground bunkers. Their fate is unknown to GSEC intelligence.

Now with 33,000 refugees, GSEC starts building a city close by from the fourth Gateway to house the refugees. On August 4th, the Masada Airbase would be finished, 11 days later the first aircraft would take off the airport to survey the area around the gateway. Quickly realizing that there is a large civilization, resembling 1400's Medieval kingdoms. On September 19th, the Medieval kingdom now known as the Macurian kingdom sends a party of knights to investigate the wierd sightings and sounds heard within the Katolitz region. They quickly learn about the existence of GSEC.

When the matter is brought to the nobles on Macurian Kingdom's side. They quickly realize how much of a help GSEC could be after seeing the Technology GSEC prosesseissa. They quickly make a deal with GSEC. The Macurian Kingdom pays GSEC with Local currency and building resources, to have GSEC help the Macurian Kingdom launch a Counter-attack agaisnt the Rozantine Empire, who the Macurian kingdom is losing a war to, badly. The Rozantine Empire is a large and expansive empire. Although this is more of a nuissance since the Rozantine Empire is fighting a war agaisnt several other kingdoms and the Rozantine empire's supply lines are starting to stretch out.

On May 1st, the construction of the Red River Research Facility over the fourth Gateway has begun. Its completion is estimated to last about four to seven months. Three days later a group now called the "extremists" launch an attack at the Masada Airbase. Destroying a portion of the runway, before GSEC realizes what's happening and pushes back the attackers.

No Rest for Now - May 5th, After the attack on the runway, the extremists base of operations has been located. A GSEC SOF called SORI or "Special Operations Rescue and Infiltration" have been sent to clear out the camp.

The 2018's Infantry Firearms Rearmament Program (IFRP) by UN GSEC was an large effort to improve already existing weapon designs as well as new weapon designs to survive the new harsh conditions of Earth.
