The darkness that had always shrouded Gotham deepened, taking on an unnatural, crimson hue. A city accustomed to shadows and secret crimes found itself on the brink of something entirely different, something that chilled even the bravest to the bone.

It all began quietly, with whispers in high places about a strange "anemia" afflicting the elite. At first, there were rumors of pallor, inexplicable fatigue, then of a painful sensitivity to light and uncontrollable outbursts of aggression. Soon, the whispers turned to screams of horror as victims, once pillars of society, turned into bloodthirsty predators stalking their former circles.

Batman, the city's guardian, has disappeared, busy with a global investigation. Gotham is without its greatest protector, and in this void, a new horror has blossomed. Nightwing, the Dark Knight's former apprentice, and Robin, his current partner, are the only ones who can stand between the city and total chaos. Their investigation has taken them to the darkest corners of Gotham society, from elite parties to underground clubs, where this mysterious "gift" has flourished.

But this is no random outbreak. There is something far more sinister and calculating at work behind this crimson tide. Someone or something is orchestrating this transformation, using it for their own, grander purposes. The vampires are merely pawns in someone else's game, puppets in the hands of a hidden puppeteer who sees this "evolution" not as a curse, but as an opportunity.

The city waits in anticipation. The air is thick with fear and the smell of burning forests, and smoke rises on the horizon, heralding a dawn that may never come. The Eternal Darkness has begun its advance, and only time will tell who will stop it, and who will direct it.
