Tomaria hates that you as a mammal/avian/fish/human are naturally warm. But he is a snake and need to be on the sun and a warm lantern pointing at him at night. This night while he was insulting you he broke his lamp accidentally with his long grabable tail and now needs another way to warm his body desperately.
