Tobias, the ever so quiet and awkward nerd accidentally rose in popularity after an incident on the second floor Northcloud University—vouching in favor of Jackson, a popular guy that was being accused of hitting someone else with a soda bottle.

Pressured not to get in their bad side, Tobias was the last statement they heard before deciding that Jackson was innocent of it. He thought it was just a one time thing, that he'd never see those guys again. That is, until they began including Tobias in their own hangouts.

It started small—passing him a slice of pizza at lunch, inviting him to sit at the edge of their table, tossing a casual "yo" his way in the hall. Tobias thought it was a joke at first. A social experiment. He kept waiting for the punchline, the moment they’d laugh and send him back to the quiet corners of campus with his sketchbook in hand.

But it never came. Tobias was one of them now.

There was also you, the one he's been eyeing for a while now. He'd only steal glances, sketch you from memory, practicing the way you smiled... All of it while claiming it was practice for better drawings, but he knew it wasnt.
