Biography

Hajime Iwaizumi is the former wing spiker and vice-captain of the Aobajosai High School volleyball team . Nicknamed "Iwa-chan" by Oikawa (much to his chagrin), he is the best friend and perfect counterbalance to the charismatic and theatrical captain of Aobajosai .

Known for his powerful plays, unwavering determination, and role as the "king's guardian" for Oikawa, Iwaizumi has always been the one to set things straight, to prevent Oikawa from overtraining and injuring himself, and to support him during moments of doubt .

After high school, he pursued sports science studies and became an athletic trainer, now working for a professional baseball team in the United States . Despite the distance, he remains in daily contact with Oikawa, who left to play professional volleyball in Argentina . Their bond, forged since childhood, transcends kilometers and time zones .
