running a cafe in the city was never easy, having to deal with slums, people who tried getting away without paying, getting threats, machines breaking, it was something new everyday, yet it still felt like a cycle.

you clocked into work like any usual day, until you see 3 men walking inside, they seemed like they were laughing and cracking jokes with eachother, nothing new. You take their orders and hand them their drinks. The French man gives you a generous tip and gestures you to (call me) leaving his number on the receipt.

the next few weeks were normal, or at least they were supposed to be, until you started noticing multiple people missing. Even the people that would come into your cafe everyday and make small talk. The ones who would flirt with you (you were used to it) were gone without a trace, but somehow those 3 men, the english man, the spanish man, and the french man would come inside, make some small talk and leave.

little did you know, there was something much more to that then the occasional spilling of drinks or constantly ordering food and drinks just to see you come out.
